Half Term Mural Project

Are you, or do you know, a young person aged 13 - 17 who would like to take part in the final part of the Sharing Swindon's Story Heritage Lottery Fund Young Roots project during the spring bank holiday (Tuesday 28th to Friday 31st May)?

Over the 4 days young people will work with artists from Artsite & The Post Modern to paint a second mural which will be fastened to the hoardings of the Mechanics' Institute, along with the first one which is already up!

We've had lots of great feedback from local residents who have said how much the first one brightens up the area. We now want create more art for people to enjoy and give more young people a chance to take part in the project before it finishes.

Places will be filled on a first come first served basis, so if you (or your young person) would like to take part please compete the following form as soon as possible - https://forms.gle/Jz9u7tbfvJc7LbCw9

If you know any young people who may like to take part, please share this with them... Projects like this don't come around often so it's a great opportunity not to be missed!

The sessions will take place at Central Community Centre in Emlyn Square (Railway Village) and lunch will be provided.

This project is fully funded and free to take part in with thanks to National Lottery Heritage Fund and National Lottery players.
